Dawn T. Collins

Partner & Co-Founder

Dawn CollinsDawn Collins brings over 25 years of litigation, negotiation, and strategic counseling experience to her work at CollinsKim LLP. Before co-founding the firm, she was an equity partner at a national labor and employment defense firm, where she represented companies in high-stakes employment disputes and advised senior leadership on workforce management, risk mitigation, and litigation strategy. Today, she draws on that insider perspective to advocate for employees navigating some of the most consequential moments of their professional lives.

Dawn’s practice focuses on executive separations, severance negotiations, workplace discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination matters. She is particularly skilled at helping clients assess leverage, protect their reputations, and make strategic decisions when careers, compensation, and professional standing are on the line. Her understanding of how employers evaluate exposure and reputational risk gives her clients a distinct strategic advantage in both negotiations and litigation.

Clients value Dawn for her discretion, clarity, and steady judgment under pressure. Whether negotiating a confidential executive exit or litigating a complex workplace dispute, she is known for being exceptionally prepared, direct in her counsel, and relentless in pursuing meaningful results.

Dawn is especially committed to representing professionals who are too often expected to navigate bias, unequal treatment, and workplace power dynamics in silence. She understands the unique pressures that can come with having to carry the weight of leadership while confronting barriers to advancement, exclusion, retaliation, and pay inequity.

Workplace disputes are not simply legal matters — they can affect reputation, financial security, confidence, career trajectory, and peace of mind. Dawn approaches each matter with both strategic rigor and deep respect for what is at stake personally and professionally.
